PICTON INCLUDED IN PITCHBOOK’S Q2 2024 GLOBAL LEAGUE TABLES AS MOST ACTIVE PLACEMENT AGENT FIRMS GLOBALLY AND IN US

Santiago, Chile – August 14th, 2024 – Pitchbook, today announced that PICTON was ranked as one of the most active Most Active Placement Agent firms Globally and in US in PitchBook’s Q2 2024 Global League Tables, obtaining 3rd place globally and 2nd place in the US. The league tables include a global standing of institutional investors and service providers based on a variety of criteria, including geography, transaction type, sectors and more. PitchBook is the premier data provider for the private and public equity markets, serving more than 100,000 investment professionals and business leaders.

All league tables included in PitchBook’s rankings are compiled using the count of completed deals for the specified deal type, region and other criteria. Only publicly disclosed transactions and/or transactions confirmed by PitchBook’s primary research team are included. For private equity, the rankings include all PE investment types (buyouts as tracked by PitchBook, growth and investor buyouts by management), excluding real estate investments. Additionally, all traditional VC investment types are included, except venture rounds tracked as accelerator/incubator within the PitchBook Platform as well as prior rounds such as crowdfunding. To build its league tables, PitchBook relies on its rigorous four-step research process, which involves web crawlers, natural language processing and machine learning technology, specialized data teams and a primary research team to cross-validate the data.
